Tenderness along the inside (medial) border of the lower (distal) 2/3 of the shinbone (tibia). It can encompass a spectrum of disorders, from tendonitis to severe stress fracture. Using a walking shoe for walking rather than a running shoe may lessen strain along the shin area. When running select a shoe with Abzorb cushioning to reduce the shock transferred to the shins and knees from the impact of running. |
